Farmer and India

Every one survives on some essential resources, among them food is essential for humans and animals. Farming or dependency on the jungle directly or indirectly in terms of food or housing was routine. But as times passed, system get changed. But still there is higher variation in the system of cultivation and other activities relating to food supply line based on the place and culture. In India also system of food resources is different states not only in terms  of culture but also practice of cultivation. Punjab and Haryana are the two states, which dominates in cultivation of paddy crop, wheat crop. These two states are beneficiaries waters of main rivers of India. State is also rich in terms of power supply. Cereal grown here not stored properly by the Govt. agencies. There is also no planning of Govt, to run private partnership for storage and distribution for rice and wheat to poor peoples or it may sold to those who can purchase. If this food is purchased by some donar peoples or NGO or organization helping poor people would encourage practice of cultivation. Most of food get destroyed due to rotten or get destroyed by mouse etc.

State like Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand belongs to small farmer cultivator. Their fields are either small or enough to only cultivate only vegetables etc.  They income is on daily basis for sale of vegetables. Income from this is sufficient only for survival but this income of farmers is not sufficient for securing their future or in calamities like epidemic. Most of farmers in these areas are either illiterate or those are educated get involved in illegal practices to hamper others development. Corruption in schools, colleges, hospitals, banks, polices etc is at extreme levels. Peoples of lower incomes facing difficulty for their survival. They are moving to other states for employment and work. Govt. health department is also one of worst agency in providing service to requisite.

Praying for the better future for honest peoples…
